Vintage Illustrations 

 

Winnie the Pooh - E. H. Shepard

A friend asked me to recreate some vintage Winnie the Pooh illustrations for a personal project. I was familiar with the Disney version of Winnie the Pooh, but I was amazed by the line work of the original illustrator, Ernest Howard Shepard. I was hooked. I tried to recreate his masterful inking and added some coloring that complements his inking style while being all the time in vector form.
