Some time ago, I was hired by an agency and I had the opportunity to produce digital advertisements that will be broadcast in Times Square, New York. I was able to produce over 30 commercials from 15 to 30 seconds from more than 25 brands. The challenge was to create motion graphics ads using very limited assets with a quick turn around to be inserted in the screen rotation. Here are some of those ads...
Toys 'R Us Geoffrey-Tron
Located at 1514 Broadway Ave. (44th and Broadway) Times Square NYC. The Geoffrey Tron screens provided maximum exposure at street level; they can be seen from both north and south in the heart of the Times Square “bow tie”. THE NORTH SCREEN, which faces the pedestrian traffic walking downtown, is 10 feet high and 19 feet wide. THE SOUTH SCREEN, which faces the pedestrian traffic walking uptown, is 10 feet high and 39 feet wide.
