Up Close and Personal
Hi there and welcome to my personal online corner. My name is Abel and I am a Generalist Graphic Designer. I decided to create this website in order to showcase some of my personal and professional work; either a commissioned job or a simple personal project. The big idea is to share some insight in my creation process and show my development in this field as I face myself with new challenges everyday.I was born in Cuba like so many years ago and while in high-school I completed my studies of the Arts from my city's Art School. Later on I graduated from the Superior Institute of Industrial Design(ISDI) in Havana with a bachelor degree in Graphic Design and I been working on this field since then.
I consider myself a guy that always likes to hone the level of my skills. At this point, this lifetime will not be enough to be where I want to be regarding everything I want to learn. However, luckily with the time I have left I can make the best of it.

Work Experience
Through out the course of my work as a graphic designer, I have been working in many disciplines in the graphic design industry. Sometimes depending of the job I was hired to do and other times on the kind of project I got as a freelancer. As you can see the majority of my work has been intended to be on printed media however, I am pretty versatile in other disciplines as well.
I am still bounded by the needs of my employer's line of work for the type of project I will be doing in the future but in the last year I consciously decided to straighten my skills in other areas that I would love to do so like 3D modeling, render and animation. Lets see if I can fit some time between work, family and more work to get it done.
